I occasionally mention LSU on a blog I do a few times a week for the American Press' Web site, but I don't cover LSU for the site or the paper. Sports editor Scooter Hobbs does.

Its a good idea, Chicken should do this if TD finances permit it. It would give the site some good rep. lets face it TD isn't thought of very highly by ppl in high places at LSU. If a reputable writer such as Carl was working for them it would help.

And yet, I'd bet that more than quite a few peek in as lurkers more than they would ever confess to, if acknowledge even knowing it's existence. Just as many tease and scoff at 1210's radio shows, yet they listen in.

Carl's presence and coverage would lead to great PR and legitimacy for the site. It may also mend some fences that may need mending at LSU.
