"Keep it edgy"? That's what is sad. That nowadays simple vulgarity is considered edgy or being clever. The creativity is gone. Michigan State's basketball student section , however, deserves props for what it pulled off. Compare that to what our student section does. You're having fun because you "offend" another. That's the extent of your actions, you "offend". Good for you. The youth of today, for whatever reason , is, generally, lost at sea. The latest trend involves attacking an unsuspecting person from behind and knocking them unconscious while capturing it on video. I guess that's edgy too, so older people should just mind their own business .

But it's the student section that is making the biggest deal about the curse words, dont you see?? These immature people think THAT SHOUTING THESE WORDS at each game is just soooo much FUn!!!!!!! Everyone else dismisses the language and the cheer itself as having zero worthiness or credibility. The curse words are useless. Everyone knows, being vulgar is what you do when you have nothing better. It shows weakness

Over-reaction??? Not really. This is just one of many signs . Much of what they do is unredeeming. They are lazy and dont want to go to work. Employers are constantly dealing with this dilemma, they can't find young employees consistently that want to work. They start making a little money, then they want to call-in sick because they want to go hang out, or they have to go attend some flash mob event in the mall to show how clever they are.
