My dad is handicapped and hasn't been able to attend a game in years. I found a couple of tickets for sale in section 653 (wheelchair accessible) for him. These seats are at the very top of the new south endzone expansion. Has anyone sat near those seats before? How is the view? And is the atmosphere of Death Valley still good way up there? Thanks for any info.

lsusports.net has a 3d view of all sections and the row you would sit on . It's pretty accurate .

I have looked at that and it looks pretty good but sometimes they can make a pic look a lot closer than it really is.

It's very accessible and the view is very good up there. Better than the top of the upper decks but not as good as the terrace.

ETA: The section is very small (only like 5 rows or so) so it's definitely a unique experience.

Here's a video from up there:

I sat up there for 1 game last year, sec 557. It's not really that bad. I have a problem with getting chewed out for cursing by people around me in my usual seats but up there there seemed to be less prudes.

The E & W uppers aren't bad (better than being on the end IMHO), there used to be a 2-row handicap seating section (10 seats total) near where my old seats were (sec 638??). No idea if they have been removed or not, but they are usually red on the new seat selection website because they are special request. Might not be a bad idea to call ticket office about those if you haven't already. Only problem there is the sun in your eyes. I comes right off the W uppers all the way to the lower bowl in the fall.

being serious, not a smart arse, is it for one game? if so why not consider splurging a little and getting him into the lower bowl, sitting in an ADA section gets your party there too, should be good tickets available, good luck with that btw, wish I could take my Dad back to TS

If you don't utter at least the occasional "god dammit, what did he do that for?" watching LSU football... then you're not watching the game.

I doubt seriously I'm not the only one with that problem. And I do try and be polite about it; shite happens.

Oh, and frick off.
