The SECCG needs to move from Atlanta when UGA is involved in the game. Needs to go to Mississippi or some other neutral site.

Why?

Will you say the same thing about the BCSNCG in NOLA when we play in it?

I'll agree if you agree the Sugar Bowl and BCSNCG should be moved when LSU is involved.

Move it to Jerry World in Dallas (because that is the most convenient for me) .

Where in Mississppi?

We don't mind playing anywhere...there's been on homefield advantage for anyone we've played this season. We don't care!

Different situation...
If the SECCG was in Atlanta once every 4 years as part of rotation, I'd have no complaint that Georgia gets to play us there.

BUT EVERY YEAR
They should rotate sites!

Maybe they should play it at a homesite.

Homefield advantage goes to the team with the highest ranking.

Dint they play the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans every year? Besides being a gaping count, your logic is atrocious.

I disagree that it should be moved. It is easily apparent that the SEC is THE most successful Conf Championship game and I think the central location and consistency of location is a big part of that.

However, there are a few tweaks I would like to see. I would like to see a move to provide MORE tickets to each school to create a little more balance in attendance. Right now I believe each team gets 17,500 tickets. I would like to see that number pushed to at least 25,000 to create more even crowds. I think that solves 95% of the problems that most people have with the home field advantage.

Also, I honestly don't think as a fan base we have any reason to complain about the # of fans in the SECCG. In '07 tons of people cancelled plans on attending after we lost to Arkansas and it looked like we had no NC shot. This year I know a bunch of people that bought SECCG tickets that didn't make the trip to save money for the NC game. I understand financial restraints, and I understand being more motivated for the BIG prize, but don't complain about being out numbered when a lot of our fans don't place a huge importance on attending the game.

Let the higher ranked team have it at their field.

They shouldn't change it but if they did I would want it to be a rotation between Jerryworld and the Georgia Dome. The highest ranked team from east/west gets the "home" field so for the east being highest ranked the game would be in the Georgia Dome and vice versa for the west being the highest rank. Never going to happen but it would be nice.

logistically, they can't wait until the last week of the season to figure out where the game is going to be played

Good point I didn't even think about that.
