Saturday should be double elimination for the two teams who are undefeated.
frick no. No one wants to burn that much pitching with regionals right around the corner. The lower teams have plenty of opportunity to play their way in.
Also, LSU has benefited from the single elimination.

The coaches voted on this format. No one wants to play 6 games in a week right before regionals start.

Whole tournament should be single elimination.

That was pretty pathetic by the pigs

Meh. It's just 2 extra games the way it is if you lose your first one.

I guess teams really aren't prepared to play 4 game series. I hope that holds for Florida tomorrow.

Who we starting on the bump?

Should be Lange.

Its just 2 extra games is a lot when 2 of your weekend starters have never thrown this much in a season.

I guess Sunday will be Johnny All staff?
Posted on 5/22/15 at 8:36 pm to tigerfan in bamaland
Mainieri talked about starting Poche again on Sunday, since he didn't throw that many pitches against Auburn. We'll see.
Posted on 5/22/15 at 8:36 pm to tigerfan in bamaland
Poche could eat a few innings.
