I've said it numerous times.

Losing one midweek game doesn't matter, but losing many can absolutely matter.

But they never argue from that point. Mascona loves to mock the "oh my God they lost to ULL on a Tuesday, they suck now" crowd. He's either ignorant of or chooses to ignore the impact of what losing 8-10 midweek games can mean for your final ranking.

Moscona is a cowherd level troll. He just keeps stirring it cause it helps him with show prep.

Moscona acts as if its black and white., but he's dead wrong.

The games count or they wouldn't keep score. And yes LSU tries to win every one of them without destroying their chances to win the weekend's series.

And for the kids who do play often its a huge game. It was for Hess before he "graduated" to the weekend, it was for Watson and Coomes who proved their mettle and won jobs in the regular lineup. Its also important for kids working on issues, fighting to get out of a slump, and for kids fighting off competition.

No one recommends burning pitching to beat NO only to lose to Georgia or SC or another SEC team, but we all want to see the backline guys improving, SEC guys getting a little work on the hill, and guys fighting for spots have their chances.

It's not the end of the world to lose some midweek games, but its better if you win them than lose them.
