Just watched this. I didn't know that. These are the kinds of stories you share with your SO if you want her to let you watch sports.

That has never and will never work IRL.

1) Why are we just now hearing Alex's story?
2) Alex's mom is a hottie

Maybe she only just now consented to the interview now that his college career is coming to an end. Most knew he was adopted. Some knew his parents were divorced. Most didn't know how involved his mother was in getting him where he is now.

You just have to tell your SO that Kroy Bierman is playing and she'll spend the whole game looking for his wife in the stands. She'll have no idea that Bierman is out of the league. You're welcome for the tip

My mom used to love watching College Gameday for the stories and would root for the teams of the players they would show.

It's just a brief pause in the continued coverage of Kramer Robertsons mom. Don't worry it will be back to normal come game time.

I had read he was adopted & raised by a single parent, but that was about all I knew about his past.

Makes you wonder who the pro baseball family members are that the biological mother mentioned...

Thanks for posting this. Him mom is awesome. He probably isn't where he is now without her influence. He will always appreciate what she did to help develop his talent.

Maybe after seeing this, she will be interested enough to watch Lange pitch to see what it's all about and that will be the beginning of enjoying the Tiger games together.

If all else fails, buy her a TV. I understand your problem. I don't allow my husband in the room when the Tigs are playing. Too many negative vibes!
