Can anyone shed some light on why I cannot watch any of the recent games, even though I have a subscription for ESPN/Disney and have DIRECTV stream. No matter how I sign in and where it always says the same thing that my local area network does not allow me to watch the game. Has anyone else had this issue and if so, any resolution? Sorry if this has been talked about before.

What device do you stream on. Need to add your ESPN plus credentials. I have an Apple TV or a playstation 4. I have my provider set up but also have my ESPN plus typed in.

Log out - then log back in. ESPN’s verification protocols suck bad. It does this same shite for HULU and Cox.

Be sure you’re logged in to the ESPN app with the correct credentials. When I first moved to Hulu, I had the issue that it was still trying to use my old AT&T U-verse sign on.

are you logging into the ESPN app?

games aren't really on ESPN+

get on the app, then log into with your directv subscription information.

I had that issue last night and it was only SEC games that were affected. Tried out game and the Vandy game and it gave me the same error message. Tried a non-SEC game that was on ESPN+ and it worked fine.

ESPN app is a nightmare. The only app I have that constantly buffers.

This is your answer. I had the same issue earlier in the season and the above solution fixed it.

I was having similar issues today via TV app.

Said "frick it" and AirPlayed it from my phone instead.

Might be the way to go moving forward.

Me too. Game wasn’t showing up on the tv app. I assume due to the time change. Had to go thru the scoreboard on the ESPN phone app to find it.

If anyone has any "alternate" methods to watch I'll be refreshing quickly for the next 5 mins because ESPN is a-hole. I'd greatly appreciate it

The fix to this issue is logging out of your network provider on the app, then closing the app, and relogging in to your provider.

This has fixed it for me. Repeat as needed as it messes up about once a week.

The problem we have is constant buffering wheel when watching via Xbox one.

Cox cable includes ESPN+ and SEC+. I have been able to watch the SEC+ games before, including last night, but this game wasn’t available.
I went to my computer and streamed, but was working so swicthin from my online work to the game feed.
I hope we get game 3 in tonight and SEC+ will be back to normal.
