Can’t really argue. He got burrow here and navigated a tough schedule with 9 wins. He did a good job.

I think A- is a little high, but you can't argue with it too much. I'd be OK with the A if we had pulled out the A&M game.

It’s funny how the perspective outside of the LSU fan base is totally different. It’s almost like the fans are too close to the process to see the entire picture.

One could easily say the expectations were only so low because of 0, which allowed him to get a good coaching grade for beating the low expectations that he himself was responsible for.

It's pretty easy to twist without thinking too hard.

But feel free to pound your chest about a 9-3 finish.

A D- for Morris seems still generous. 2-10 is just plain awful, how is he not an F?

The last time an SEC team was 2-10 or worse was 2013 Kentucky who was also 2-10.

I give him a B- for UF and the Bama shutout.

Still lost to Troy. That should disqualify him from ever getting an A for life.

I'm not an O hater but I'm also not an O fan, either. At this point I'm cautiously optimistic towards him but I need more time to decide whether or not I'm jumping on the O Train.

He has definitely done a decent job, no doubt about that. Has he been great? I don't think so. The fact that Burrow was developed by the Meyer staff makes me pause on my judgement of O. I think we'll all know much more when Burrow is no longer here and we have a starting QB that's recruited, coached, and developed by the O staff here at LSU.

Having said all of that, I really can't argue with a grade of A- this year. Nobody had us going 9-3 in the regular season. Facts are facts and we must give credit where credit is due but PLEASE don't give him a raise and an extension yet. Giving him an extension and a raise based off of one decent year should also necessitate firing him if he loses 4 or 5 games in one year as well.

Agree. Win one either at Florida or the Aggs game and it’s an A. Did a very good job overall very high B+ almost had an A.

I’d say a B- for Coach O, a C- for slinger, an A- for Aranda. Decent season.

The usual clowns are coming in this thread to not actually talk about the topic but preemptively protect 0. Classic.

Saban lost to UL-Monroe does her deserve to not get an A for his life?

Not saying they are equal but if you apply this logic to O you have to apply it across the board to all coaches.
