I have a related question. Why don't we ever win the Sec or ncaa championships despite having great teams each year!!

They three- peated the SEC 2017-2019, Injuries have affected most seasons since.
Nationally Oklahoma gets great scores on bread and butter routines and LSU gets under scored on more dynamic routines.

Not sure where the "why don't we ever win the SEC" comes from because we've won numerous titles, but as far as the NCAA championship, LSU has been a really good gym school for quite a while, but they have not been a great gym school.
There has never been a year where LSU has went in as the favorite to win it all. I'm a big LSU gym fan, and this is seriously the first year ever when I've actually felt we have a legit shot to win it all. Even in other years when we've made it to the championship, it would have taken us to be outer worldly and the top team would need to stumble to win.
Hell, even this year, with the best, imo, gym team the school has ever had, we honestly need OU to have an off night to win it. OU is that good. But we got 2019 Joe Burrow on the team (Haleigh Bryant) with a boat load of other weapons, so I like our chances! Just need the freaking judges to be consistent
