The Big 10 is grossly jealous of the SEC.
I have done business in OH, MN and MI.
They largely hate the SEC, hate the BCS and some have even said they don't care about a National Championship. They care about winning their conference and winning the Rose Bowl.

100 % correct, the Big Ten schools value a Rose Bowl victory way above a National Championship.
If they earn a National Championship with the Rose Bowl victory, then it's just icing on the cake.

Some are jealous. Other like me fully acknowledge the number of teams with outstanding talent. [LSU, UGA, FLA, ALABAMA] Thats a lot of teams with top talent. However it gets old hearing SOME SEC fans beat their chest making disrespectful condecending comments about the rest of the college football world.
