No movement in bracket since games concluded last Sunday.
Miss State and Tennessee don't make the cut.
Auburn has tiebreaker over South Carolina for #9 seed.

If Missouri/Arkansas and Ole Miss/South Carolina flip and UT passes State for #12, we'll have an East v West tournanent.

Am I reading this wrong or are a couple of games inverted? (games 10 and 11 maybe?) The way it reads now is that if LSU were to win game 6, then they would jump to bracket two for game 11; win that, then jump back up to bracket one for game 15?

Nothing complicated with bracket. Single elimination on first day (Tuesday). Then a double elimination tourney. Bracket doesn't flip but losers play before winners on Thursday. If lsu wins first two, then they get Friday off.

And this will all change about 100 times over the next 2 weeks.

That will suck for Hoover if Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, and Miss State all lose on Tuesday. :rotflmao:

I thought the reason the SEC HQ added a few teams to the tourney a few years ago was to ensure their home state darlings didn't get left out. I think it would be great if they had to stay home!

Well they're not getting left out...

Good conspiracy theory though.

FWIW, the top 6 teams have already clinched a spot in the tournament.

Fingers crossed that Florida takes at least 2 against Vandy this weekend. Of course we want A&M to lose some, but that's the other main thing for our #1 seed hopes.

No you're reading it right. They set up the bracket so that from top to bottom is the schedule for the day. (Yea it's pretty dumb). If you were to draw it out on a piece of paper it does work out to a true top and bottom double elimination bracket with play in games.

Alabama can't read brackets, so they do it from top to bottom style.

Narrow the field to 8! A baseball team playing 5 games (possibly 6) in 5 days is absurd!

We are the reason they expanded it back in 2011. We should've gotten into the NCAA tournament but we didn't because we didn't make the SEC tournament.

Bama wont be there when its said and done. I really doubt they win more than 2 maybe 3 games.
