After what I saw this weekend, I fully expect Florida to drop out of the Top 10 after a rough start. I'm confident in saying that Alabama and Georgia will not make the SEC tournament. Missouri and Kentucky made a strong Top 25 case. Carolina took care of business. Arkansas has good bats and beat up on a depleted State team. Auburn was extremely impressive. LSU took care of business.

Definitely wouldn't mind seeing UF at 0-6 by this time next Sunday.

fricking Missouri. I was actually rooting for Bama today to stop their winning streak. All kinds of crazy going on in league play right now, and frankly, we are taking our sweep for granted. There's no telling what can happen this year in SEC play. Florida will not roll over and die, neither will A&M.

I see us going 2-1. I'm not liking the matchup Friday night. Lange is sort of a head case this year. He's leaving way too many balls middle and up. UF is struggling at the plate but everyone gives their best vs Lange.

6 sweeps. That's crazy. This weekend at least ties the most SEC weekend sweeps ever. I'm sure that's a record.

LSU can put Florida in a huge hole with a series win next weekend.

I agree. At 1-5 or 0-6, that's a very uncomfortable position to be in. After this weekend, they are batting .239 as a team which is dead last in the SEC. As a matter of fact, they are at the bottom end of almost every offensive statistic.

UGA wasn't doing much better, but they hit the ball well against the Tigers.

We will find out a lot about Kentucky and Ole Miss after next weekend. Ole Miss has great pitching and Kentucky can mash.
Mo and Arky are gonna be a good series as well.

This is def concerning. We are very thin in the pen. We need Beck and Peterson to step up big time. Kiel is a lost cause imo. He only has two pitches and can't get one of the over the plate to save his life. Similar problem Lange is having

Also of note, FSU lost their series to Va Tech including a 17-0 loss Sunday and dropped both of their midweek games

I saw that! I don't see how D1 ranked them #1 entering last week... They faced zero ranked opponents and had a 13-3 record.

I expect them to drop out of the top 5, but you never know with the D1 staff.

Louisville will be the consensus #1 pick this week. Haven't faced any stellar competition, but they are 19-0.

My Top 5 prediction tomorrow:
1) Louisville
2) Oregon St.
3) TCU
4) Texas Tech
5) LSU

LSU should be ahead of TTU, but I don't see it happening with D1 staff writers.

Week of the sweep. Can't remember the last time the SEC had three sweeps.

I fear Georgia will be really bad this year. Our real battles are ahead.
