FLa. loss= red zone coaching. I don't know how many red zone plays we had, but it must have exceeded 20. They outcoached us there and badly.

Yep. Orgeron/Ensminger choked in the Red Zone.

The Red Zone is a whole new ballgame. We blew it. Badly.

The coaches game plan was fine.

The players were put in the correct position to win the game. That's the coache's jobs, is it not?

Players failed to execute plan. Left 13 points on the field.

This bullshite notion that coaches are responsible for EVERYTHING on the field has got to stop. If it were the coaches responsibility for EVERYTHING including execution, then why aren't more people whining and complaining that Etling doesn't have a 100% passing completetion over the year.

At what point does responsibility transfer to the player to execute the given game plan?

Nope. LSU would have lost more games with Miles. He was apparently working the players too hard mid week and they came out flat on Sat. That was apparent from day 1 with Orgeron. They played with fire.

The FL game is one of those games that happens from time to time. They got the lucky breaks in that game. It is what it is.

No need to get personal and resort to name calling.

The guy makes some good points, though I don't agree with everything he says. I think Wgat cost LSU in the early games was the brutal pre season practices that caused some serious injuries to players and compromised Leonard Fournette's season. That along with Miles being a control freak as it pertains to the offense and not using tools effectively like DJ Chark and Desean Smith and Colin Jeter, etc. Also the didsirganuzation at getting plays in.

I think the die was set with Miles after the opening game and maybe LSU have made s move then.

I give credit to Coach O for changing the culture at practices and dominating teams he was supposed to dominate. Theoretically, there is no way to tell what Miles would have done had he not been fired. I am not inside the player's heads. We will never know and anyone who says they know is lying.

I support Coach 'O' but I do have some serious concerns. As much as the loss may be on the players for the Florida game due to the miscues, there seemed to be a lack of focus going into that game from the Twitter Wars which culminated into the pregame scuffle that occurred before the game. Had LSU lost to Florida the same way with Miles coaching them as they did with Coach 'O', you all would have been all over Miles and rightfully so. You need to be consistent here.

I give Coach 'O' credit for the bounce back wins over Arkansas and Texas A&M. I am not sure that Miles could have gotten the Tigers to bounce back, however, I believe LSU may have done better in their search and that falls on the shoulders of one, Joeseph Alleva. I am curious as to what kind of coach he was looking for during this diligent search and the Fisher/Herman or Bust strategy. It is showing up in other sports with his hirings.

The way Coach 'O' has dismissed Myles Brennan really concerns me. Narcisse has had two serious knee injuries and Ibam not sure he will hold up. I know he wants to have the spread offense, but like Alleva, I think he may be grasping at straws with the Hawaiian Alabama commit because there is first of all no guarantee that Lane Kiffen will be LSU's offensive coordinator.

We will see, and regardless of how you feel, I urge all Tiger fans to get behind Coach 'O' as he is who has been chosen to lead LSU football. He is capable of doing great things and has a good record at LSU and USC.

C'mon man. People who understand football should not blame any coach for three mistakes made by 19-year-olds.

They did it to Les so...
The issue was not substituting Guice or even benching him for that fumble. That shitty 3rd and goal call with Moore where FREAKING BRENT M. called the play! WTF!

bullshite.
Losing to a 14 point underdog at home while they were missing tons of defensive starters isnt acceptable.

Im sure you gave miles passes for this.

Orgeron does what would have gotten Les Miles fired, and we hire him as head coach. It is inexplicable.
