That's probably pushing it for a single. Not sure how many people would only buy a single if available. I've never tried just 1.
Probably wouldn't hurt to send Jamie Graham an e-mail & let her know your wishes to buy just 1 single season ticket no matter what the location is.
LSU withholds some lower level east & west sideline singles that aren't sold on a season basis. I have no idea why.
They put them on Marketplace weekly for each game though.

Update:
As of Wednesday, July 23, seats are available in the following areas of Tiger Stadium:
Sidelines: singles only; no seats together
Endzones: limited pairs/sets of 3
Upper Deck Chairbacks: singles only; no seats together
Upper Deck Benches: available in multiple locations and combinations

Believe more people signed up for the waiting list this year than last.
They should be around 1,000 by the end of day Friday.

But if they were calling from the wait list, it shouldn't take that long... Surely not every person from 1-1000 has an upgrade or requesting new ticket... correct??

Not everyone under 1,000 requested. They were on 550 earlier in the week. 850 today & 950 is scheduled tomorrow.

That list also includes upgrades not just new season ticket holders. So if their upgrade request cannot be filled they just purge those.

I just spoke w/ someone at TAF offices. They said as of this morning they were on #1100 ranking. When asked what number they project will be the cutoff for new tickets she said 1500. She also said that LSU ticket office has sent/or will be sending a letter saying that if you are ranked above 1500, don't expect a call and you will not be getting new tickets.

how many is each person allowed to add, 8? seems like they are sucking them all up pretty quickly this year.
