Exactly. And his back hit the ground first, with no stretching of the ball over the line. That's what the LSU players saw and that's why they were going crazy (as well they should have) about making the goal line stand.
Oh well, I think Hester got a few first downs that same way last year, so no big deal.

one of the still pics shown while the replay.... showed the ball carrier with part of his head over the line, but the ball in his chest about a foot short.
On many of the angles the ball was not visible, but on one of them was.
