The first rule of watching online is that we do not talk about watching online.

It doesn't matter what MStiger said. If you think the LSU admin doesn't know which site is always hosting baseball games, or how to find them by now, then you are stupid.

This. I don't understand why TD Admin Team is always cracking down on posts about JTV. The loop hole is only news to fricking idiots and 63 year olds. I'm sure the LSU Athletic Department is well aware of it.

Like the other poster said, the more people that watch it, they'll end up shutting down the link and no one will be able to watch it.

That's the rule #1 another poster was talking about, don't talk about you know what.

And not everyone gets CST. I don't.

All it takes is one idiot to screw it up for those that can't get to Alex Box and watch in person or who don't get the channel that the game is on.

Many idiots have already tried to screw it up. It is still there.

And how does some local TV station/University shut down a website stream? Real question.

Why would anyone shut it down when it is on free TV anyway. Hell CST may want the publicity so more people across the country will ask DTV and cable companies to carry their channel. Big bucks. The easiest way to go out of business is to remain Anonymous.

Again, I can understand why LSU wants to shut down the feed when someone is stealing money from their pocket to stream premium content for free. I don't believe this is the case this weekend.

True but you can't always watch a game that isn't available in your area.

I know I'm not the only one that looks there for it.

No idea.

In a nutshell, it's just a mean way to be, if someone ruins it for millions of other fans.

So who is allowed to watch it? If only so many people should be allowed to watch it, why are you one of the privileged few? And how did you find out about how to watch it there to begin with?

God forbid someone who can't watch the game wants to know how to watch it online like you. What an idiot he must be!

Read what I just posted..... not everyone gets the channel it's on. It's put on there as a courtesy by other fans so those that can't see it are able to watch it.

I think you are overestimating the LSU baseball fan base. More like hundreds, possibly thousands.

Oh geez, here we go.

I was speculating on why they shut it down. I honestly have no idea.

I do know that recently the games have been more difficult to find because the word is out now and they have shut down the feeds.

I will tell you why they shut down the feeds. Some moron is buying the games through LSUsports.net and then broadcasting for free on a very well known steaming site.

Whomever is broadcasting the games this weekend is getting from his TV. He is not stealing a "pay-per-view" event like MMA, boxing, or wrassling.

The only way someone could do that would be if they have an account for the GeauxZone, correct? Real question

Why did they continue to shut down the broadcast of the SEC Tournament? It was getting whacked 5 minutes after it came back on time and time again. The stations lose their leverage if people steal it online. They want people to miss the game so they have to switch to or demand their carriers provide the channel.

This sure wasn't the case for the SEC Tournament. It is not LSU alone that gets the broadcast shut down. The networks have just as much at stake. As far as how they get it shut down, they simply have their lawyers send an email to the ISP, who then has their client shut it down and monitor for new broadcasts.

Yeah, oh geez, here we go. Someone calls you out on your hypocrisy.

Tell me. Why do you deserve to watch the game and not others and how did you find out about how to watch it?

Perhaps you didn't. My mistake if so. OP has been called an idiot and more by so many in this thread that I've lost track of who said what. But very few have condemned that language toward the OP and others in this thread, that's for damn sure.

I personally find this thread to be embarrassing for the LSU fanbase, at least as represented on this site.

Yes, one person. He then broadcasts it to thousands. I pay $40 for a four month subscription during baseball season. If only a thousand people watch it for free, LSU losing $ 40,000 from the moron who is showing their pay-per-view feed for free. How many people watch his feed. LSU could be losing a lot of money.

I can understand why they would be very motivated to have the site take down his broadcast. You think UFC wants all of their pay-per-views broadcast on the internet for free? How many people would pay them money to watch, if just anybody could broadcast their fights?

Google. Not by someone posting it on a website that is likely to drive thousands of people to the stream. The game is not available for a lot of people on TV. If it gets shut down, fans all over the country miss out. That is why people get so agitated.

Where did I insinuate others didn't deserve to watch it?

I'm no better than anyone else.

If I was making it sound like I was, that wasn't my intent.

Fair enough?

No, no, no! Don't interrupt the bitchfest of people who are stealing the game for themselves but complaining about others who wish to watch the illegal broadcast too! They don't DESERVE it like the others in this thread do!
