Why are other teams not scheduling 4 body blows in a row like LSU does.

Bama
Arky
Ole Miss
aTm.....well, aTm is not a 'body blow' but still.

Why can Alabama schedule a Charleston Southern before AU and we take Olemiss before ATM?

We could have taken a week off after UF and then played Bama, then Arky, then Western Kentucky.

Followed by Ole Miss and ATM.

Not saying that WKU is a cupcake at all. But 4 sec teams in a row can cause no room for erros....especially with BDP at the helm of a third of our plays.

LSU doesn't set the whole schedule.

Bama has been first week of November for a few years now. Would you like another SEC team before the bye so we can have a trap game after?
I'm glad the cupcakes are done by then - November is time for grown man football.

When you play in the SEC West at some point you are bound to play a few tough teams in a row. We have our bye before Bama, so you can't ask for much more.

Yes, thank you.

Who sets it, and why have we been playing 4 tough teams in a row for a while.

Wouldn't SEC scheduling come out of the conference office?

Ask the conspiracy theorists, they'll know.

The schedule has always been like this (TAMU recently moved to the last game of the season)

What exactly is the problem?

All SEC teams must play eight conference games including every team in their division. Difficult for a western division school not to have several tough games in a row.

LSU, Tennessee, A&M having a bye week before the Bama game. There is no conspiracy

Bring it on! I like it. If we earn it and run that table, we will have so much momentum going into the SEC Champ game. The glass is half full right now.

Add the fact that you never know who will truly be tough from year-to-year. At the beginning of the year, a lot of people thought LSU would have tough matchups bc Auburn & Miss St were suppose to be really good and contend for the West.

That's an excellent point to make.

All good points.

Wouldn't mind seeing WKU somewhere between these four highly emotional games.

Bring it on, as well. I am one who loves the Florida game and don't shy away from a tough game.

Would love to see a small break instead of WKU, then a week off.

Name them for me, please. List shutouts, if possible. It's still a rivalry game and foolish to think that it's not.
