[quote]I wish the Saints had held out on signing a backup....Brees could have taught him a thing or two and he IS a tremendous talent.[/quo

Waiting for JR to get fit to hopefully play pro ball one day while the back up QB's you want are scooped up by other teams is not very smart.

JR was great at LSU and warm poo in the pro's. Facts are facts.
Wish him well though.

Yep...I remember that. I cut him some slack because he still had some loyalty to Saban, which was understandable.

Get over the pic.

He has nothing but LSU gear on in his training videos on B/R

His throw to Early during the "home" game at ASU is one of my favorite plays.

4thh and 10 I think,1:13in the 4th quarter, throws a dart to early in the corner of the end-zone, 40 yard TD
I was in the stands that night, and the moment he released that ball my first thought was, "We lost." I knew, knew, that there was no way that ball could get there in time. The physics just would not allow it. But somehow the ball just went in an impossibly long, impossibly fast arc just in time. I was stunned. I remember joking shortly afterwards that he had somehow created a warp bubble through pure arm strength.

It was amazing, and one of the few football plays that were literally awesome to me.

He's the best QB I've ever watched at LSU. I was only 5-6 when Hudson was there so can't compare. Only QB we've had that 3rd and 15 or more I thought we still had decent shot to pick it up and coaches had faith too! Every other QB we had is most provably a draw or screen and play field position game. And I've never understood people saying dumb or he made too many mistakes. Had very few int's and highest compl percentage in college football. Not to mention he threw the ball downfield which made completions tougher. ( (good receivers too though lol)
