Saw "Hershel Walker's" locker in Tigers locker room

So I just got back from the LHSAA coaching clinic at LSU's practice facility. Talked to Les and coach Stud. Kegs and bud girls were formally in place. Had a great time. I got to see all the players max lifts for the summer, super cool.
There was a locker in the back, near all the blue-chip freshman. It was #42 with a piece of tape over the name. It read Hershel Walker (yes, I know it was misspelled). Now I know a freshman couldn't give himself any nickname, especially that one. This freshman benched 425, squatted over 500 and runs a 4.4 and was listed as weighing 210+.
What an incredible compliment. I watched him in person run for 300+ in the playoffs (in crazy cold temperatures too). I can't wait to see Ford in action again.

Are those Fords' stats on the bench and squat or Herchels when he was a frosh?

Pretty sure they are Fords.
If the team is comparing the dude to Walker then that is a hell of a complement, if premature.

Ask questions. Woods and Barksdale benched 500. Barksdale squatted 701! New record at LSU I think. Russell Sheppard's numbers were sic too. 325 bench, 400 squat I think. Listed at 193. His power clean was way high too. He and Randle have lockers right next to each other. Dline coach from the bears sounded real good.
