I personally think that Stallings is the only one who is a complete scratch through the weekend (bullpen wise). I'd say Hunter Newman could pitch the 9th on Saturday but most likely Sunday. I'm not an expert though.

Just posted this in another thread, but it's apropos...

I dunno. Surely it'll be slim pickings...for both teams. But let's say we get five innings each from Riley Smith, John Valek and Caleb Gilbert on Saturday and Sunday. I expect them to stretch Latz to three innings next time. That's 18 without using our bullpen much.

We will have a lot of guys ready: Newman, Bain, Norman, Reynolds can all give us a couple of innings. And Lange could close Sunday if Newman isn't available. That's a little extreme on only three days rest, but it gives him five days rest before his next outing.

The only guys who are unavailable will be Stallings, Poche and maybe Lange. We will not founder due to a lack of pitching.

The day off today basically resets your bullpen. Stallings is probably the only guy that they will shut down until next week and Bugg probably isn't available until Sunday.

This is interesting.

Going off Memory, but Latz has not made an appearence out of the bull pen and Gilbert has been better in the starting role. Gilbert is from Hoover, so I'd would also like to see him get the next start.

I'll go

Gilbert, Reynolds/Valek, Newman - Saturday
Latz, Smith, Norman/Bain, Bugg - Sunday

We're actually sitting pretty in the bullpen.

Stallings and I guess Bugg are the only ones that are burnt. That leaves Newman, Valek, Gilbert, Bain, Reynolds, Notman and Latz available out of the pen. I expect Smith to start Saturday and Valek or Gilbert on Sunday.

For Sat/Sun
Starters could come from Valek, Gilbert, Smith, whichever doesn't start could go in the pen except for Valek
Could maybe start Latz again Sun with a pitch count to build him up

Relief
Norman
Reynolds
Newman

Bugg/Stallings maybe Sunday
