I'm cool with a night spring game but I'd imagine it wouldn't be free when you factor all the costs associated with pulling that off.

damn athletic dept is loaded. the cost to have a nite game can't be much more than a day game. hell, charge a buck a head and give the proceeds to charity. surely, they can do something for the damn fan that doesn't involve a big expense. cheap bastards.

Pretty sure they have a nice get together with recruits and their families after the game for.
There was a picnic after last year's spring game. Unfortunately, I had to drive back to ATL because of work so I couldn't attend. BTW, it was hot as shite.

basically it comes down to one simple reason people... ITS A FRRIGGIN SPRING GAME!! Thats WHY. We're not Alabama. We dont care about a spring game, whether its in the daytime or nighttime.

For years when I was still in La., all the spring games were at night. We would have a much bigger crowd if they were still at night.

Past few years it has been the same day as baseball which played at night. So they don't want people missing baseball for spring game or missing spring game for baseball.
