Sankey statement very Miles-esque

I read that quote and immediately flashed back to all those Miles press conferences where he'd say some crazy, incoherent, vague, weirdly phrased statement. "I'm in a POSITION to lead that"??? What does that mean? Are you saying you will step in and make the game happen? Are you saying you hold a high level role and could possibly help the process?
Why not just say, "I'm the SEC Commissioner, and I'm going to make it my personal mission to ensure this game is played." Be direct. Say what you mean. No more Miles-speak!!

Yeah, it's weird that a guy who coached here for 12 years and was fired less than two weeks ago would still be in my head.

Translation: Florida wins. They get to heal up and play at a later date... unlike every other team affected by Matthew. Not only does Florida get to heal up, but we will force LSU to jump through hoops and lose millions. Fine print = LSU will get screwed if this idiot decides to try to look tough.
