Win a couple of good games. Have a clunker. Bounce back. Lose to Auburn. Bounce back. Lose to Tennessee.

Consistency really is the problem. I don't see it changing, either.

This was a game we could afford to lose.

It sucks because of how we lost. Played like garbage. Quarterman nonexistent, Simmons with too many turnovers, awful rotations by Jones, and just awful game strategy in general by the coaching staff.

Florida didn't even play that well. They just played a lot harder. And their coach is 2x better.

It's that, but it's more so the lack of adjustments.

You could tell 3 minutes in that the zone wasn't the right defense. It took our coaching staff 17 minutes to realize it.

It's hard to play from behind on the road. You've got to get ahead or play pretty much even early.

Come on people!! A week and a half ago, you would be happy at 2-1 in SEC play.

Cut the condescending perfectionism. Foul trouble on Victor cost LSU.

As far as running an offense and making adjustments, JJ needs to go about 120 miles up the road for a couple days.

He could learn a lot from the coach at LSU-Alexandria.

Yeah and a great recruiter as well. Wonder what the Gator rant was like a few days ago when they got blown out at Tennessee which lost at home today against A&M?

I'm complaining about LSU's inability under Jones to play consistently. They lacked intensity and hustle. Which are things well coached teams bring every night.

Yea Ben Simmons is great but JJ needs to be fired at the end of the season. Next year will be his least talented team since his first year. We lose Quarter, Hornsby, Simmons We are going to get murdered!!!!!

Did you really think they would go undefeated?

After 2 great games they played flat on the road. It happens. It's not the end of the season.

I'm so tired of all you rantards constantly blaming Jones for every single thing that happens. Yes, absolutely, we stayed in a zone too long but he was forced to do that because of early foul trouble. Granted I would have gotten out of that zone as soon as we gave up the first four offensive rebounds. Going zone against a horrible shooting team is usually a good idea but not in this instance.

The game was there for the taking in the second half but it is solely on the shoulders of the players. Blakeney and Sampson have not stepped up in a single game this year excluding the first two home games. Quarterman is schizophrenic. Hornsby lived at the rim but he didn't get many good looks from 3-point land. 2 of simmons turnovers were on bad calls but he was forced to do too much because everyone around him let him down. Patterson was off too. Hornsby and Simmons where the only two players on our roster that were solid today

Also I would like to point out that this team's IQ is horribly low. I don't mean to type of IQ that a coach can improve on his players. I mean the type of basketball IQ that you either have or you don't. And more of our players don't have it then do

you don't have to play zone because you get in foul trouble. This is silly.

When your players are overly aggressive and getting beat off the dribble therefor committing silly fouls, it might not be a bad idea against a terrible shooting team. Especially when their strength is getting to the free throw line by attacking

Like I said, three possessions into that zone should have told any coach that it's time to get out. There other coaches on the bench besides Jones, I just can't understand why collectively someone didn't discuss and say enough is enough

They gave up a lob on the same exact play basically 2 possessions in a row, and still stayed in the zone for about 5 more minutes.

Inexcusable.
