People have rightfully given Ehlinger and his two WR credit but I’d like to also give a nod of the hat to Texas LT Sam Cosmi. He got away with a few holds but other times he completely stonewalled Chaisson. Very impressive player and he was a 3 star around 1200th overall player and the 104th OT in his class. Why can’t we find a diamond in the rough like that?

The best OL know how to hold without getting called for it. I agree he played incredibly well.

Justin Jefferson was a 2 or 3 star. I think he suffices as our absolute diamond in the rough. Was great last year and got even better this year.

How many times did Texas pass? That's how many holds he got away with.

I thought our offensive line as a whole played great. They are an impressive group. Once we get healthy at RB our ground game is going to take off.

Justin was rated low because there was a question of whether he would be academically eligible to play. He ended up qualifying at the last minute. Teams backed off him, LSU stayed on him and the rest is history.

He literally grabbed and held Chaisson’s shoulder pads almost every play lol.

The problem is that Chaisson was bull rushing a 300 pound guy at 250.
