Ran the ball three times, played prevent largely, allowed opposing team to drive down. Unfortunately Georgia is full of morons that couldn't convert. But Saban is god and miles is a moron.

Saban ran a 3 man rush and dropped coverage until UGA got inside the BAMA 35. To his credit it was the same defense that held LSU to 5 yards with a QB hurry and a sack in the same situation so it's not like that strategy hadn't paid off in the past.

what does what saban did in the SECCG have to do with LSU?

nothing.

Yet you felt compelled to start a thread to try to show that Saban is not so much better than Miles when reality says differently

I'm simply noting how they called similar games at integral points of big games but how differently they're viewed based on those two performances. I don't care if you think Saban is a better coach, that's fine.

Surely you can't be equating ten wins with a NC?

And it's a perfectly valid point. The Sabanites simply will never let go.

Sorry about that. The intent was not to flame. I thought it was a valid point.I guess that and logic was a little much for ya.

miles has done this a lot and it has worked. but when it didn't work against bama, it was a stupid strategy. fans will be fans. since the anti miles crusade this year, i have taken care to watch other teams play calling in certain situations (the good teams) and lo and behold they are similar calls. hell, i swear some of them stole our play book. i think the problem we have is our tendencies are just too well known and we need to break them sometmes so the defense won't gamble and win so often.

if you're insecure with the fact that Saban is a better coach, that you feel compelled to start a thread pointing out similar late game strategies in an attempt to somehow equate Miles and Saban, I dont know what to tell you.

Saban's play calling has nothing to do with LSU, so I dont know why this is on the Rant for any other reason than being insecure and Bama obsessed

That is his point! BTW, 3/4 of those were "embarrasing" wins (AU, OM, Towson, ARk,) but hey CLM can laugh all the way to bank while I sit here and dream about winning NC's!

No, it's to try and debunk many boarders Saban obsession.
