O.K. I've seen this posted in a couple of threads - Miles outcoached Saban on Saturday.
Please respond if you think Miles outcoached Saban on Saturday, so I'll know who to put on ignore from now on.

I think Miles coached a really good game for the most part; the playcalling was unpredictable on both sides, and the players played their asses off.

But...Saban's just a little better, and he was a little better Saturday, and he's a little better all-time.

All-time SEC record:
Miles: 26-12 (1-1 in SECCG, one NC)
Saban: 46-16 (2-1 in SECCG, one NC)

I don't think the coaching was very far apart really.....

I DO question our conditioning.......but as far as the rest, I thought both teams were very physical and LSU had a few more mental errors.

In terms of having the right amount of people on the line of scrimage and knowing when and when not to call a time out, Saban kicked his arse.

Yea, Les didn't adjust for the fact that 75% of our offense was injured by the end of the third quarter.
All of you need to drink lye. Seriously.

Go watch the game again......

For all of the DOMINATION by Bama...if Barksdale doesn't flinch...it's, at minimum, 18-10 with less than 8 minutes to go in the game.

SOOOO......I'd say.....you're wrong.

You said late in 4th... LSU was down 6 with 10 minutes in 4th Quarter.... hmmmm unless you consider 10 minutes in 4th quarter, Late in 4th Quarter....

Maybe you just didn't understand what you typed

Yes I saw your hypothetical that did not happen... Again 10 minutes in 4th Quarter is not LATE in 4th as you mentioned. Is that hard to understand????

Alabama made the necessary adjustments at halftime. LSU didn't.

An actual play that happened...yet called back....is not hypothetical.

They took the lead at the 10 minute mark.....it, to me, is a figure of speech.

For Saban being supposedly such a better coach....he had an off week before the LSU game.....time to make a few changes to at least make his offense a LITTLE less putrid.....and yet, LSU still could have won the game w/ numerous injured players AND being outcoached by a FAR superior Saban.....

is THAT hard to understand?

did Saban lose his starting QB, TE, RB, and CB?

Saban was stupid for not running the ball from the beginning

Ah but you said

no point in trying to back track now, Bama was winning late in 4th quarter not LSU.

Now you are just showing your anger and bitterness... Bama accounted for 200 more yards than LSU. Yes they could not score but you saw a completely different Bama team than the one in first half. They tried to catch LSU off guard early in game by throwing the ball, Saban realized that did not work and changed game plan.

Also, when did anyone say FAR Superior... the question was if he was out coached. You are attempting to put words into people mouth because of your individual hate for him.

LSU could have won had they scored more points and not shot themselves in the foot but they didn't and they lost. Game is over get over it.

Maybe the touchdown by Julio would have not happened had the block in the back not been overlooked, or the facemask on Hitt...or many other things.

Who knows who would have won. The Gumps said it was a beatdown. It may take me a long, long while to get over this one.
