thought I saw his fastball in the 88-89 range more than it had been. great to see. he's looked really sharp his last two outings. Last outing he just kind of hit a wall once he hit 30 pitches but looked great prior to that. I don't want to get too far ahead of myself, but the way Hilliard, Fontenot, Beck, and Vietmeier (and even Moffitt) have been pitching, once we get Hill and Marceaux back we're going to have a pretty crowded pitching staff.

Can never have too many pitchers. It’ll be nice to not have to worry about too many Johnny Wholestaff outings this year.
