Chalk that up to (1) Louisiana Personality & (2) Tommy Karam's lessons. Recent article had Shaq talking about how much TK helped foster a television personality and making the athletes comfortable with speaking.

ESPN is all about ratings and throwing out a blend of knowledge and entertainment at the same time. LSU puts out educated guys who have experience, knowledge of the game, can speak clearly (one of the most important believe it or not) AND have personalities that help get ratings. LSU has done well getting athletes out there with all of those qualities that the media loves.
