This might be a stupid question but I don't know. Can you have 5th wheel campers there or is it just Motor homes, friend has one that I want to get but don't have a Motor Home just a 5th wheel, he doesn't really know Thanks

Motor homes. You can't even pull a trailer with a grill

Fifth wheels are allowed. You'll have to have a generator with the exhaust run up over the roof and pretty sure they'll make you disconnect from your truck as well.

If you are referring to rv parking in the touchdown village lots for football season, then the answer to fifth wheels is a definite yes.

You you are correct truck can't stay and the generator rule is enforced pretty strictly.

Accurate answer: have been parking n TD Village for the past 5 years with my fifth wheel.
Your generator exhaust must extend beyond the roof and there must not be seepage at the generator. This is enforced by a roving safety officer.
Not only can you leave your truck with the fifth wheel but you must leave it. The safety officer explained to me "so that you can pull your trailer away in case of an emergency".

They've made my buddies remove their trucks the Saturday morning before games for the past several years.

Who is "they" and you are saying tow vehicles have been forced to move? Here is the way the safety officer explained it to me when I asked about my truck. He said, what if the rig next to you or two rigs down catches on fire. You need to be able to move your rig out of harms way.
Get your buddies to ask the safety patrol guy. That has been the same person for the past 5 years. He would be able to get a tow vehicle allowed in TD Village.

Just called them and asked. The response I got was that tow vehicles are allowed in RV lots. It's non tow vehicles that must be out of the lot on game day. That doesn't mean that an uninformed policeman doesn't know the rules. I've never been asked to move mine in the past five years, but if I were I would get an individual officer to call headquarters.

I don't recall if it was campus police or the safety officer in the red and white expedition. I believe it was year before last that they were told they would have to move the truck from the lot. We just assumed from that point forward that's the rules and never inquired further. It is nice to know that it can be kept with the fifth wheel.

Magic - use the safety explanation if needed, but the Supervisor I talked to today and the safety officer both used the phrase "truck is required to be with the fifth wheel."

Exhaust Extensions
POLICY: All motor homes require exhaust
extensions that reach the top of the motor
home. For the safety of everyone, motor
homes without an extension should not
operate a generator. This also applies to
generators used by (fifth-wheelers).
REASON: Exhaust fumes are dangerous and
annoying to other tailgaters.

I have an extension pipe welded to my generators exhaust. I have a PVC pipe attached to my ladder that extends beyond the roof. So, I place the extension pipe inside the PVC pipe.
I have seen other similar setups, or I have seen individuals place the generator on top of the roof. I wouldn't do that, but then again I worry too much.
