I bet he's a royal terror on twitter.

I'm not on twitter, and please don't start obsessing over me and my posts...that wasn't even directed to you, and you're attempting to answer for me.

Deep breathes...it'll be okay, so long as we fire Les soon.

You disagree with this?

Again, take his production prior to the bama injury, plus his bowl game production, how well he had apparently be doing in practice, and the fact that this is year 3 for him in the "system", and you start the transfer?

Fair enough, but I was one of those pushing for an open QB competition in the spring that we all knew was not happening. It's been over a decade of this stuff now...we have to learn at some point.

It's all on Les...everything.

Mett was pretty good. Did he get it wrong then?

Met should've started in 2011, Sicboy...this should be obvious at this point. Les doesn't let many players learn on the fly, even though we have plenty of relative cup cakes each season.

And we all know Mett was a JUCO transfer, much like Etling. Again, this pattern cannot be ignored.

What's your point, anyway?

The coaches can't predict the future. Harris is in his 3rd year in their system with 1 full year of starting in the SEC and had been performing better at practice than Etling, who was a transfer. You're just using hindsight to say they should've started Etling to begin the season

No he shouldn't have. Jeez. You had 2 experience QB's ahead of him, and Lee was 17/1 td/int leading into the bama game, and regardless of what you think of JJ (not a fan here), he was the running threat that Les wanted, especially after the bama game. That defense was stout enough to get by on what Lee and JJ could do (Lee was above and beyond, again, until the bama game). You're clouded by Mett's '13 season and ignoring his '12 season. He threw for decent yards, but was only 12/7 td/int. Again, the right people were playing.

I'm done with the excuses...other top coaches would've seen what our stupid coaches didn't...or wouldn't.

And your point is? I didn't say I was on TD doing anything...like you said, I just registered.

There are many things I say OFF of TD...likely a foreign concept to a nerd.

Want me to tell you why? There were multiple reports back in 2009 that he beat Murray out for the starting position at UGA, then Mett got booted for the arse grab at the bar. Then Murray started and has a excellent college career and was one of top freshmen (RS) QB's in the country.

Do I really need to keep telling you more about this? We got Mett a full year after all of that, too, and after he was the top JUCO QB in the country.

You're arguing for the sake of arguing, and your boyfriend is pretending to laugh with you at the notion of Mett starting when he got to LSU.

You're both wrong, period. I was calling for Mett to start back then, too, so I'm not going to sit here and listen to this stupid crap about him not being ready...you really think Cam did that much with him over the 2012 off season? Why hasn't Cam been able to do jack shite with anyone else since then?

We're back to the head in the arse discussion, it appears.

You don't speak for everyone, Mr. Pack Mentality.

You're going to get eaten alive in the real world unless you learn to be objective and follow your own heart and mind. Without changing, you're going to be unable to learn and especially learn from the past and history.

I do wonder how much of this was propaganda, though. There were also reports (e.g., passing academy) about his issues. Issues that should have been troubling for a QB in his Junior year.

You're acting like that team didn't go undefeated into the championship game. And even Mett wasn't going to beat that bama defense in nola.

You're forgetting that I'm all for Les being gone. But if saying that Etling was put in at the right time is me being a Les defender, then we're done. Getting nowhere.

Correct. I felt sorry for the guy but no more. He's not mature enough to play.
