With our stable of backs and run blocking going the way it has, we can simply run into the wall until it breaks against almost anyone. Are we gonna wear florida out in the second half like we have everyone else so far?

Yep. I'm glad we had the success in the passing game this week, because next week we're probably going to run more. If Florida completely sells out to stop Leonard we'll throw, but I expect 250 yards running and 100 yards passing.

I don't think we have the defense to play that way vs quality teams.

Florida's defense is nasty good. It will be a challenge to execute the offense. We will need contributions from every guy we have. The defense has to cover space very well and force that young qb into some mistakes. This one will be a 4 quarter game for sure. We need rbs to make contributions early so we are fresh at the end of this one.

Uf has an insane pass defense and a talented overall d. Who knows what their pass d looks like with 8 or 9 in the box though. Lol

Yes. At this point, LSU does not try to use the run to set up the pass. LSU will run the ball with 10 guys in the box.

I do think that if Moore can't go, you'll see a lot more shotgun and single-back formations. Mouton is good, but I can't see the staff giving him 30 snaps.

They had a ton of success with both the run and pass when they spread the field and forced people out of the box. I hope they continue to do that against these better defenses that are coming up on the schedule.

They have a great secondary, and there D is not all that "weak" anywhere but they have the biggest holes on the line. Specifically with the linebackers.

Not to mention they have not seen an offensive line like ours yet. Expect us to run.

it's gonna be very difficult to run against 8 in the box. we have to back off those backers a little in order for fournette to bust a few.

Running out of the I formation this year has been unstoppable -- and I don't see UF or BAMA being any different.

The only way LSU loses is 1. terrible special teams play 2. costly penalties

I'm hoping JDM can get back, but being in street clothes in the 2nd half isn't a good sign.

Harris' legs will be needed more than any other game so far

They weren't against Tenn. Gave up over 250 yards on the ground. They struggled stopping Dobbs and Hurd.

Harris' feet may be more important than his arm this game.

you nailed it - the stats on SEC nw - spread it and LF7 got

130 yards

tight formation around 30

there you go

Tennessee is a pass threat though. If florida did their normal rush d against lsu we would run for 300 yards easy. You know they will load the box up though.
