After tonight, LSU needs to win both games against the Gators on Saturday to get a bye in the SEC tournament. At this point at 38-16, I'm not sure the Tigers have clinched a regional host, but probably.

This team is not as good as the previous recent teams, but they have a grit about them, despite their flaws, that you have to enjoy.

I could agree with the theory rhat the sec will not get a 4th team if there were a semi decent Alternative

If LSU wins the two tomorrow, there is an argument on National seeds. If not, well we will see, but LSU hasn't won 40 games as of yet.

I understand what you're saying Ell.

One way or another either the ACC or SEC is getting 4 national seeds.

Locks:
Florida
State
A&M
Miami
Louisville
Virginia (they are on fire right now)
Texas Tech

Bubble National Seeds:
SC
LSU
Florida State (long shot IMO)

Think it's simple as that really...no team out west is getting a national seed.

To even be this close is remarkable and better than any of us considered coming into the season. A sweep against Florida makes it interesting and regardless of national seed or not, makes us one of the hottest and most dangerous teams in postseason play

Crazy that you can have a #11 RPI nationally and still be the 7th-best SEC team. Hoover could be better than Omaha this year!

There is no doubt if they win out like I mentioned earlier they'd be a national seed. Would have a share or 1 game off regular season title. Winners of like 15 or so straight, rpi of around 6,tournament champions.

They'd get the 4th one from the SEC over Carolina.
