Ron Brooks was the guy who could benefit the most from a Tyran and Simon suspension. Being a senior and being back up to a sophomore would have galled and eat at any other player that plays football.

Yet. Not only did he not seem to mind it but he was quietly supporting Tyran and Simon by writing their numbers on his arms.

Brooks rose to the occasion and performed at a very high level. I don't remember him getting beat or beat badly all game...broke up 2 passes too.

Guess it's a good thing to have those experienced seniors who actually CAN rise to the occasion when asked to do so.

Yeah it was cool too seeing Mathieu, Brooks and Claiborne wearing # 9 on their arm for those 4 games. Glad to see they are a real family.

I get that about the whole team this year...that is one of the reasons why I don't they will allow themselves to lose to Bama...it means too much to them!!

Brooks has always been a team player. Last year at the begining of the season when the TIGERS were squeaking by eveyone and the LSU fans were sitting on their hands and grumbling, it was Brooks that was waving his hands to the LSU fans to get them up and motivated. I was really happy for Brooks when he made that interception and got a TD against AUBURN.

He's got #13 which is my favorite jersey number.

I noticed him getting the crowd rowdy last year.

Brooks has always dominated kick coverage. Glad to see him get opportunities to play CB.

Absolutely this dude always plays his arse off...we have a #4 corner that most teams would die to have!
