I saw that Rohan Davey recently returned to the Arena Football League after sitting out for 5 seasons. I think if he had really gotten a shot in the NFL, he would have been a great QB. What do y'all think?

He did get a shot. Not an NFL QB.

Yeah man, he was a backup to Tom Brady for a few years. I mean, being given a chance to start and see what he could do. Not a lot of guys get that chance, it just makes you wonder if he could have made an impact. Hey, he was successful with NFL Europe, it could have happened.

I saw him 3 weeks ago in Jacque Imo's (uptown New Orleans). We were both waiting for a table at the bar. I shook his hand and told him I'll never forget when LSU won the SEC in 2001...watching them beat Auburn, then Tennessee from N. CA (home at the time) and seeing that flag getting run around the Georgia Dome was incredible.

He was very cool. Later, he left his date or old lady to come over and ask me when I was at LSU (94-01), where from, etc.

I also mentioned that he and Josh Reed were unstoppable.

Cool cat

I read that he recently started playing with the San Antonio Talons of the AFL, but I would think he probably does live in the Baton Rouge area.

I live in San Antonio and he does play for the Talons. He was one of about 20 QBs we had this past year due to injury, including FSU QB Xavier Lee. RD looked good at times, other times like
