watching this interview with tihs recruiting "insider" and they said they know some stuff about jacob phillips and he doesn't wanna be at LSU. I think these guys are just salty he flipped from them and prob told these guys how much he loved OU then turned is back on them and now there trying to stir the pot

Was rated the best tackler in the country by PFF, he missed 2 tackles all year in 79 attempts. A player who doesn't care doesn't bust his arse like that.

To them, OU is the pinnacle of everything and the center that life revolves around. They cannot fathom how any player would scorn OU for any other school because OU is so much better in every way than everybody else.
Plus, they've never gotten over the January 2004 BCSNCG. I swear to you, LSU absolutely broke Oklahoma that night. They've had a bizarre and unhealthy utter hatred of LSU ever since then.

They did not think it was possible for LSU to steal their birthright to the title. Remember, the were supposed to be the greatest team in history according to the talking heads. They also know that the LSU win that night wasn't a fluke.

OU loathes LSU. Nothing would please me mote than for LSU to beat OU 80-0 after pulling all it’s first team at half time. OU fans have lied for years about how they were treated by LSU fans. Fact is they (OU fans) came down to New Orleans talking shite like they were better than everybody in LA. and LSU fans refused to take it. Many OU fans were straight up rude and LSU put it back in their faces. 80-0 LSU

ask anyone who is a Nebraska fan what they think of Oklahoma. Used to have a close family friend and Nebraska grad who said that in-stadium experience was absolutely brutal.

Hack journalism at its finest. He has no clue about Phillips. The OU 247 Board is was in massive meltdown mode when Phillips chose us over them, their mod at the time just came out and basically said it was shocking and we had to pay him, etc...

He also has a sports talk radio show here in Oklahoma. The dude is a hack, and I can’t stand his voice or his presentation. He acts like he knows everything about every player. He’s very over dramatic as well, but the sports animal (sports talk radio station in Oklahoma) loves to hire guys like him. RJ Young, Jim Traber, and Al Esbach all love to tell and scream, on their show and all seem to know everything about anything.

I’ve been told that Lincoln Riley isn’t happy at Oklahoma by a member of Riley’s family. He despises the entitled, ungrateful fan base. Lincoln apparently has lamented that the entitlement is over the top for a program he says has only had intermittent pockets of success

Phillips seems comfortable here. Always fishing & hunting. He’s a great kid & great teammate by all accounts.

Their story is that wonderful doe-eyed OU fans politely came to New Orleans and were all continually and criminally accosted by LSU people. Geriatric female Sooners had dentures slapped out of their mouths. Their children were urinated on for wearing OU gear. Police with LSU tattoos robbed them after conducting public cavity searches. It was just awful.

Oklahoma fans still pissed that LSU stole Jacob Phillips from them. Phillips was high on Oklahoma out of hs. And in the end coach Oeaux got him to pick the tigers
