People have no clue how many times that play actually netted a big gain.

that has nothing to do with the play itself.

The toss dive specifically, you know that one play that LSU and only LSU has run for the past 5 or so years that is easily defended and impossible to PA out of

Easily defended? Is that why we are one of the most successful run teams in cfb even when teams know its coming?

I think you interpreted the post a little concretely

Yeah, but it pretty much tells the Lb's and safteies immediately that we're running. Instead of a deeper hand of that freezes them incase it's a play action.

I interpreted how you meant it.

I said there is nothing wrong with the toss dive.
You said there is when everyone knows its coming.

Hey everyone knew it was coming this year and all of 1 team stopped it.

It immediately gets the ball in your rbs hands and lets him see the development of the defense. Which holes are actually being opened.
The toss dive was extremely effective for us.

I hope its the first 15 plays we run. Just to picture you and the others like you pitch fits like 5 year olds.

Ok. I'm not gonna argue with you. I've seen enough people get into with you to know this is just you.

You're right. The toss dive is a fine play when used occasionally against favorable odds and in unpredictable situations. Yes, in those situations, it's an adequately designed play.
