Good luck. Based on what we saw not a big loss. We need Latz and Cartwright more than smith.

Seems a lot to expect from Cartwright. His rehab would have to go perfect to be back for SEC play.

Yeah I'm not counting on Cartwright at this point for a whole lot next year.

No offense to Riley but he was probably told by CPM and AD to sign because he got hurt, failed to pitch like the top 100 player he was out of JUCO and honestly they never found that they could count on him throughout the year, probably wouldn't change next year. He probably won't get much money in the 24th, but I think his family is well off. Best of luck, he looked the part, just never pitched like it.

That's a little harsh. I thought he gave us a few solid outings when he was healthy.

I wouldn't count on Cartwright too much. Even before the injury he was an average pitcher.
