I believe Les is kinda viewing it as him quitting on LSU more so than deciding to turn pro. Something happened, but we may never know.

heck its easy to figure out what happened. when he came to lsu he was one of the top wide receivers in the country if not the top receiver. he stayed three years and les just wont let the offense throw the ball enough.

It has been widely rumored(known) for some time now (months) the RR wasn't the happiest of campers and would likely go pro. Shocker I know.

I think Randle was just upset with how the end of the season turned out. I dont think he dislikes Les. It's the same situation as Ridley going pro last year. Les didn't agree with that decision and only had a press conference for PP.
There's no reason to assume that Randle was unhappy while he was here.

at the risk of this turning into another shitty JL vs JJ thread, anyone have time (i dont) to look at RR numbers this year when JL was in the game vs JJ?
Id like to see how RR's involvement in the offense might have changed, if it did at all.
I guess im curious if his frustration is based on this year, or his career at LSU as a whole.

Do you really think RR wants Les Miles at his press conference? The man who basically took him from a potential 1st round selection to a 3rd or 4th? Miles and JJ cost RR millions of dollars.

So Ridley was pissed at Miles last season for not having a presser? No. The reason there was no presser was because Miles didn't agree with his decision to go pro and was still trying to convince him to stay at LSU

if he leaves, i think its out of spite, much like RS was going to do. Everyone knows he would gain millions by staying.
Hopefully his parents can get him to tough out one more year, even if he dislikes Miles and the program.

Everyone doesn't know that. There's a lot to consider when leaving early (injury, combine performance, 1 year closer to the second contract, etc...)
