I was looking at the impact players from both sides of the ball. It appears we only lose Nevis, Sheppard and Patrick on defense and virturally return the entire offense. Am I right on this? if so; wow!! 2011 could be Great! For now I am enjoying 2010, be back in TS for Ole Miss.

You really think he's a QB? By the way...I'd go ahead and add Mettenberger.

I just put him there because we have six safeties and we would need a plan C or D.

I think if we add Mettenburger then no, but you have to think that we need more than two qb's for 2012....may need to keep Sam Gibson ready for that.

Rivers and *Mettenburger would only be 2 qb's for 2012.

Placekicker and Linebacker will be the only areas of concern. We have plenty depth at DL and DB. Kick returner will be up for grabs but we have the athletes to handle that.

Of course, we could improve at QB with either the current QBs getting better or someone else coming in and playing. OL could also get a little better at run blocking.

I don't think it's a guarantee that Peterson is gone with all the NFL work stoppage talk.

did francios and brooks redshirt?

they were part of the monster 2007 class with nevis, toliver, chad jones ect.

That is still my favorite class btw, had 18 4 stars and 2 five stars.

pretty sure that they redshirted. It wasn't certain that Brooks was going to be a DB and was trying out at WR.

Same thing w/ Francois, LB or S? So they waited... and he fits well, now that Chavis is here, as an OLB.

A good bit of attrition has to occur this year. Right now we're at 79 scholly guys. We're losing 9 SRs and 1 JR most probably. That leaves us at 69 so we would only really have room for 16 plus i think one is being backcounted against this year so really 15. So however many we sign over 15 is about the attrition to expect.
