I still don't see how it was a bad idea. It hasn't worked out but we needed corners and he was def worth a shot.

The NIL money would've been better spent elsewhere

You're dumb as shite if you think it would've been better to not take a chance on him. It could have worked out with an elite talent. There's no chance of it working out if you don't even take him.

Jabbar Muhammed is from Texas and transfered to Washington. He seems to be doing well. Fentrell Cypress Jr transfered to FSU and had 4 tackles against us in the opener.

Look back at my post, with BK’s history, I didn’t expect him to extend an offer to Harris as I thought he shouldn’t but he did. Not sure why. Maybe this will be a lesson that kids who are problems at other universities, don’t suddenly figure it out and become model student athletes.

Yeah losing Cypress and Azaryeh Thomas to FSU definitely hurt, but I disagree with the point the OP is trying to make about taking Denver. When someone that talented is available you take him, he just didn't learn from his past mistakes.

Honestly it was worth the risk taking him as a transfer. We needed corners and it was a multi year transfer addition. It didn't work out but it was still the right idea to go after him.

This is more a reflection on Steeples. His coaching abilities are really suspect and just given this job without a resume that would warrant such a position.
