Over the years we have watched some solid solid D from Chavis. But I can honestly say I was beginning to get extremely frustrated with the way we went about attacking opposing QB'S.

2 things frustrated me.

1. We didn't blitz when the blitz should have been called and

2. The QB read option D was horrible.

Well insert a guy who can coach the hell out of LB's and to me we are in great shape.

I remember the strongest D's across the nation went through LB play. Well with solid LB'S, it helps with filling the gaps on the runs and also zone coverage to have the capability of shutting down the medium pass and not allowing long runs from QB in read options.

Everything I read about Steele is he runs an in your face D with great intensity.

Having Adams, Beckwith, Debo, Mills, Teuhema and others is gonna make Steele Thrive.

Bring on Coach O with his intensity and I think we will really like what we see.
