Beyond the judgment of what people should or should not do and how the glory days have long since departed.... It's obvious that there is a problem with attendance. Will the program make an effort to research and address the issues or will they just keep it as is since the most money apparently is generated from being on TV?

I blacked out at a tailgate for a game in 2009 and left at kickoff. I started this whole movement 7 years ago.

Lol... Well that's funny! They did fire les for being hard headed and unwilling to change. Will they see themselves as the same?

I made it to LSU-Wisconsin in Houston, blacked out again, and left when our punter shanked a punt in the first quarter. Walked around the parking lot looking for Nicholson drive for a few hours before I realized I was in Texas.

I wish I did not make the trip to Green Bay.

Thanks Les

A 4 plus hour game is the reason people leave. Sitting on those seats for four hours are hard on the but

-hand out free concession drink vouchers at the gates at the end of games. One per person exiting. shite scratch off cards for free for perks, anything to make an incentive to stay until the end.

-create a gated smoking section somewhere by the exit but within the premises. Call it trashy if you want but a lot of smokers can't go 3 hours drinking without a cigarette

-offer TAF incentives to bar owners in the area that promote free cover or a free drink for a voucher received post game at the gate. Of course you would somehow have to make it profitable for them as they want the opposite. This might be a tough one

-2 min remaining seat prizes...

I know all of these options might be costly, but like everything else a desired result comes with a price tag. There are ways to negate it

Just spit balling here

Just my two cents, but they may not address the issue since as you mentioned...most money is being made on TV and also ticket sales aren't nearly an issue since the problem with attendance is fans leaving somewhere in the 3rd and 4th quarter.

I think you are right, they won't care until the tickets stop selling.

I can't say I agree with this...we sell out of season tickets every year. this is a spectator sport and if people get tired of watching and want to leave 30 minutes early, then so be it.

honestly, I see tv making a big deal out of nothing, as late in games, they often zoom in on a particularly empty area and dramatize the shite out of it.

Feeding the addiction of weak willed nicotine addicts is not, nor should be the problem of Louisiana State University.

Nor should normal people that desire healthy air have to smell the poisonous smoke of said addicts.

On a positive note, with so many people leaving early, the traffic isn't as bad after I stay the whole game.
