that was a terrible call. the play was blown dead, how can you give the gators the ball
Can someone explain that one. The replay appeared to show the official mark the play with his foot and wave his arms signaling the play over... Correct? How can it then be a live ball again? Wouldn't that signal to our player(s) not to even bother going for the ball that the play was blown over? I was confused.

These are just 2 plays that every one can agree.
That fake pratt fall, looked like wrestling. And the ref calls a 15 yard penalty and gave Florida the first down. the the behind the block call on that punt took like 40 yards away. This was all at the end of the game in extremely critical situations.
But these are just 2 that I remember right now. I saw much more almost every other drive there was a penalty called against LSU, at least 89 yards called against LSU.

dude that was the correct call. he hit him from behind not from the side, it wasnt even close. i would be pissed if we were up and the refs didnt throw the flag there, it was the right call. the refs didnt lose that game for us. the offense d

Next week ... SC will beat us if the D has to play the entire game. GO TIGERS!!

BS the refs could call that behind the back block or holding every play. WE know that. They called that behind the back block at the most critical time and I think also another holding. The refs should let them play as in the NFL playoffs or superbowl not interject themselves in the game like that at a critical time. The fact is without those penalties LSU wins. FACT

Referees stole that game from LSU
Refs stole that game from LSU.
The refs called about what 6 calls against LSU in the 2nd half at the most critical times.
That big LSU pass play was really close and was blown dead by the ref. Then they reverse it and called a fumble after it was blown dead on the field .they gave them the game right there.
The refs even called a behind the back block on that great punt return. They can call that on every punt.
The refs called a 15 yard personal foul penalty on an LSU defender when the Florida player faked a fall.
This and more all happened at the end of the game and surely gave Florida the game as they only won by 1 score. I know that other penalties went against LSU. This is just off the top of head. Florid is now number 6 and undefeated. The refs stole this from Louisiana. Watch the game again. wtf is wrong with these refs, were they just biased, evil or paid off? This should be investigated.

it doesnt matter if the play is blown dead on a fumble. if the opposing team clearly recovers the ball immediately, which florida did, and the play is reviewed and shown to be a fumble it is a turnover. the ball just cant be advanced. it was the right call. in fact, we have benefited from this rule.

Exactly and add to that the fake prat fall called a personal , the blocking behind the back negating a 40 yard punt return , all at the end of the game , at the most critical times ,all calls against LSU. My defense rest. Oh no but I'm called a nut. I'm no fan of Miles and his PoP warner offense but this day the refs stole it from Louisiana. face the facts

dude, just shutup. and no they cant call that play every time, because players dont crush people directly in the back every time. and if the ref didnt call that, you are saying our offense would have driven the ball 55 yds for a td, then got the 2pt conversion. what offense have you been watching all year?

Give it, the only obvious bad call was the PF against Muncie. Most every other one were like most games some go your way some don't.

Consider this: Last year, had bad calls against us. Still won. I can see the merit of what you are saying about the calls, but we played so poorly on O.
I wish we'd aired it out more before the end of the game but we didn't.
Either Mett can thrown or he cannot. I think he can.

I'm not a big fan of SEC refs by any means. The only place to look for the reason the game was lost is directly at LSU.
Posted on 10/7/12 at 5:43 pm to Aintsaloser
We played like shite. End of story.

I was blasted a few weeks ago for saying a staple of a Les Miles team is too many penalties.
Looks accurate to me.

Thanks. Just seems an odd ruling. Play til the whistle unless you see a loose ball I guess. It just seems that since a whistle is the signal to cease activity it makes it difficult to read from a players perspective.

Please...if you complain about the refs...Don't use correct calls to complain about. OBJ fumbled, regardless of whether it was blown dead, Florida recovered.
It was an obvious block in the back.
Now the PI down field on OBJ where the announcer said, "Good no call" is something to complain about.
The OBJ juggle catch that they said he was out of bounds when he had his left foot down with possession before his right foot went out of bounds was a bad one.
I honestly can't see Florida running the ball 58 times on the best defensive line in college football and not holding once...but...what cha gonna do?

AND the behind the back block negating that 40 yard punt return. And a holding and taking away the biggest play of the game that 50 yard pass play, and many more calls ALL against LSU in the span of a minutes. Those refs and those TV announcers were biased as hell .
