Who will get one, who should get one. Mingo, Ford, the 2 DL and Chris Garret are the ones I know of, any others?

Garrett
Ainsworth
Faulk
Lowe
Williford
Logan or Montgomery or Brockers (but not all 3)
Possibly Davenport or Downs
Barrow
Jones
Johns
Loston (will be arriving late + injury)
Calhoun

ETA: Those who I don't think will (or should) redshirt:
Shepard
Ford
Allen
Randle
Hicks
Minter
Claiborne
Helton

Mingo is the only one I can't figure out what they'll do with. He's raw, but they had him working with the veterans one day.

He'll get carries so that he will have playing experience for next year. Instead of Murphy being the only one with real game experience

Also makes it a little easier to recruit this year...and next. Ford doesn't RS this year.

I think Mingo will redshirt. The kid needs to put on some weight.

I didn't know that. One guy that I wasn't sure about was Minter, I though I heard he was running with the 2s but I may have been mistaken.

i think both minter and barrow could see time...LB is the weakest position on the team, imo

mingo definitely redshirts though...after seeing practice pics of him, he is rail thin

I thought Barrow had to put weight on also. Tahj Jones will def redshirt. He's rail thin, and he could use an easy football year to strengthen up on the academics.

I think Ford could play right now and play well but to me its better if he redshirts b/c there is a lot of talent above him seniority wise and not enough carries to go around.

Scott is priority number 1.
Keiland is a senior and number 2 guy.
Richard Murphy needs more carries, hes got a ton of talent
Ridley deserves carries after coming back from that injury and he is also really good.
Then you got Trindon who will get a few carries a game and then Shep too.

tell me where Ford fits in b/c I dont see it

Think you're pretty close.

There's a difference between those who "can play" and those who "must play." I would love to see Ford RS.
