Do they count games or quarters played?

Pretty sure it is games played in. 4 games, not 16 quarters.

When you play one snap in a game the entire game counts towards your 4.

If a quarterback is that good he will not last 4 years before turning pro.

He can play in 4 games and still RS.
I am fine playing in this one. He likely won't play in any of the SEC games.
I don't mind getting him some college game experience against Southern.
