Reason why JJ is playing and JL is not

JJ will stand in the pocket with 300 pounders hanging all over him and still make a play. JJ also makes a ton of plays with his feet when the protection breaks down and with various option plays. The guy is a flat out NIGHTMARE to defend. JL is not hard to defend, he just benefited greatly from the ground game against teams that have no choice but to stack the box. He cowers at the first sign of pressure, consistently throws off his back foot and throws some of the worst interceptions I've seen. All these people with bleeding hearts for JL need to get real. Our schedule is backloaded with the best teams in the SEC in the last month of the season. JL has NEVER played well against a decent defense even in his best year, yet some of you want to throw him out there expecting something different. JJ is playing as well as just about any qb right now and those who can't see that aren't being very objective. People need to put aside their personal biases and enjoy the show that JJ is putting on.

I ate crow today. I'll admit it. Do I think JL could have done well? Sure. What I saw from JJ proved to me that he could do well and lead a decimating offense.

JJ run out offense the past two years and half. We boot him to the curve because JL was white and it would please more racist fans and they think an offense that was meant for JJ was JL to run.
JJ also help us defeat Alabama, CLM gave JL every single chance to defeat Alabama and he was unable to do anything. THere was fear in his eyes, JL did a great job up until now but it's now JJ time to drive us all the way to the ship.

JJ's biggest problem is waiting too long to throw which is what gets him in danger to begin with. It also disrupts timing with receivers and that is precisely why you see our receivers having to ad lib so much. Lee is a far crisper passer and gets the ball out now.

I can and do agree with this and I am a big fan of Jarrett Lee's but i know that Jefferson has the mojo right now and I dont care if the quarter back is a spotted rhino. as long as we are winning that is all I care about and im sure Lee is feeling the same way.

PLease not another JJ vs JL thread. I want to see both of those kids hold the crystal trophy above their heads cuz they have been through soo much shyt. Congrats on JJ and JL leading LSU to its first 12-0 season in history.

Hmmm, I'm not sure which game you were watching today, but on at least two of the passes were completed BECAUSE Jefferson was willing to hang in there with the ball until a receiver was free.

I will eat crow too i saw it today JJ took the pass rush in stride he wasnt shaken up by the pass rush.. I am sorry i have been a JL backer this whole season but he cant handle a pass rush... Jl goes into panic mode with a pass rush!!! sorry JJ impressed me today!!!! I think we will see JJ explode these next few weeks.. Just like Miles said he will be better these next few games!!!!

Lee is a good player and deserves much respect for what he did for this team this year. That being said, JJ IS our starter. The end. LSU fans need to quit with the chants for Lee...hell, 2 years ago he was getting booed out of TS. Be happy for the kid and what he has accomplished for us and himself, and accept that that is his role.

People are over looking the fact that Studrawa is the OC and he's been a spread guy for most of his coaching career. He evidently likes the added dynamic JJ brings with his ability to run the football.
It's just more fun to say Les Miles plays favorites. Oh or JJ has incriminating photos.

Been a JL supporter all season, but JJ took a couple of hits today that I don't think JL would have survived. Props to JJ for an oustanding game.

It's "curb", not "curve" ... and bullshite. JJ was booted to the "curb" because he was charged with a felony. Race had absolutely nothing to do with Miles' decision. At this point, you sound more like a racist than anyone.

Lee gets the ball out quickly, often regardless of whether a receiver is open or not. This is because he's afraid to get hit. This is a MAJOR problem which he's had his entire career. I'd rather have a guy hold the ball too long sometimes than throw terrible interceptions against good teams. People who can't understand this are just plain ignorant.
