Reality: Unless An Epiphany Takes Place....We're At Best A Two Seed!

No...in reality... there isn't much difference to me in a two or a three except the first game being visitor or home.

Fresno St. won it as a 4, UVA won it as a 3, and CCU won it as a 2.

All it takes is getting hot at the right time. Only time will tell if this team has it in them.

You hit it on the head. Have to get hot at the right time.

Last year we got hot for roughly 20 games beginning with the possum in early May. If we can get hot beginning in SEC Tournament then we have a good chance to do some damage.

The team can still host. 8-4 SEC finish gets us to 18-12 and likely within a game or two of the SEC leader. We also play 3 top 30 RPI teams down the stretch, so plenty of chances for good wins.

14 regular season games left.

Will 37 wins get us a regional ?
Assuming a record of 18-12 in SEC ?

18-12 is not likely to be within two games of the SEC regular season champion. State would have to go 7-5 the rest of the way to finish only two games ahead of that. They still have Georgia left to play, plus Auburn and LSU both have to travel to Starkville, and they play a series at Texas A&M. They would have to really hit a slump to go only 7-5 vs. that remaining schedule.

And that's not even to mention that there are four other teams also at least two games ahead of us, which would all have to go no better than 8-4.
