Beat Alabama and win the College Football National Championship in the most competitive football conference and division in college football at least once every 3 years. At least split with Alabama every two years. Nothing less is acceptable. Losing to Alabama three years in a row is immediate job termination. Please submit your past success as an example you can guarantee our job requirement which qualifies for an interview for this position.

QUESTION: Why not just put it in the contract that if you lose to Alabama three games in a row and you don't win a NC in one of any three years you are immediately terminated? This way we only get applicants who are qualified to coach under these expectations. Isn't this what is now required to coach at LSU?

What current head football coaches qualify for an interview? And should the Athletic Director be held to the same job requirements?

Ignore all the other blatantly obvious problems that hamper LSU football almost weekly, then generalize the rationale of the people who disagree with you

Do you think the past seven seasons have been acceptable? 2011 was, almost. But his stubbornness cost us a title that season as well.

With Mett landing in our lap we are 8-9 the last three years in SECW. We have shown nothing to suggest that trend is changing.

No one will sign this contract

Edit: And I see that's your point

I'd settle for a coach who get the offense to come out after a time out and execute a play without a delay a game penalty and all of the players know the play.

Don't make highly visible in game coaching gaffs that cost the team multiple games. Don't lose games for your team at least once a year out of your own incompetence. Don't be so stubborn that you would rather lose games to show people that you will not relent from your offensive philosophy than relent to what people critique you about.

Don't be an arrogant bafoon and leverage any and all job openings for more money or more years on your deal.

The fan base is sick of the terrible in game coaching and bafoon antics.

How about just going .500 v. Bert Bielema?

How about not having more penalties than passing attempts in a game?

You cannot be this stupid.

Over 11 years Les has lost 32 games. By any standard when taken as a whole is a great record.

However 8 of those 32 have been in the last 12 months. And nearly half 15 of them have been since and including 1/9.

It's not about Bama.

It's about the decline and the gaze forward with a fair but critical eye.

Over the next few years do you see a team with Les his staff and his philosophy with a record like his first 3 seasons or like these last 3?

It's time.

First time in LSU history to give up 20 points in 9 consecutive games.

2-4 vs arkansas and ole miss in the last 3 years.

You see alabama's name in there anywhere, son?

Get your mind right and stop being so BAMAsessed.

These responses are what I expected. Folks want to complain and fire the coach but they don't want to except reality of "Who" can deliver what you want. All coaches have their strengths and weaknesses. What you all want is Nick Saban or a coach who is better than Nick Saban. Reality is tough to except sometime.

I want LSU to win NC's like everyone. Our Athletic director is trying to find the best solution to calm the ship for another 3 or 4 years. And he might get lucky and hire the next best football coach in all of college football.

You should *except* the reality that you cannot spell.

Wouldn't make those requirements. I say to play for natty every 4 years and split with Bama.
