They never showed it really in slow-motion...should Landry have hauled that in?

It was hard to tell...

I was glad to see that play, but in a way, I wish they had saved that for a stronger opponent. I'd love to the see the expression on Spurrier's face if they were to pull that one off against USCe.

Anyone?

It was pretty behind Jarvis.

They ball faded very badly. Partly due to the wind and partly due to the way he threw it.

I agree, we should have saved it.

When I watched the TV replay last night it looked like Ware was hit as he was throwing it.

this..wasn't a bad throw, but it's difficult to spin around on a vertical route to catch the ball.

thats different, the pass ware threw would have been picked against bama, uga and those types. i love the call, dont get me wrong...just dont think it would work against a team with good safeties

more air and it's a TD, he got laid out as soon as he let it go. oh well. I haven't been happy about the offense since flynn, looking forward to the rest of the season!

Never saw a replay, hard to tell, but that was a hell of a pass considering Ware was being hit as he threw it. Would be interesting if Landry could have adjusted to the throw, that was a bullet. I was impressed with the throw.

Probably should have rolled to the right side as they did against Auburn 2010 when it did work. Good think to keep other teams honest in coverage though.

debatable...they had just run the same toss for yards the play before. If Landry sells the block before breaking away, the it's likely he's uncovered. You'd have to have a very disciplined safety who didn't break to the runner

Maybe but it also keeps teams from selling out on the run and forces them to stay with recs.

depends...sometimes the better the defense, the more aggressive and gambling they are....might catch them cheating and selling out.

I think they probably saw the what the safety and corner did on the play before and knew it would be open. These types of calls are only made when you've spotted a tendency vs. just being pulled out of the hat (no pun intended)
